Maison de la Roseraie is run by us, husband and wife team Kevin and Anna. We left the UK corporate world in 2020 for a new life hosting tourists from around the world, and introducing them to the finest gems the Loire Valley has to offer.

During the course of your stay with us you’ll visit a selection of historic châteaux. Depending on your package and length of stay these could include Fontevraud l’Abbeye, home of Eleanor of Aquitaine, her husband Henry II Plantagenet, and their son Richard the Lionheart, Château de Chenonceau favourite residence of Catherine de’ Medici, Château Monts sur Guesnes a fascinating mix of Gothic and Renaissance styles, the enchanting gardens of Château du Riveau, and finally Château la Mothe Chandeniers which is currently undergoing a major renovation.
You‘ll visit Cande St Martin, where the Loire and Vienne rivers converge, and the historic town of Richelieu of Cardinal of Richelieu fame.
You'll be taken on private tours of award winning winemakers to enjoy tastings of Chinon, Vouvray and Saumur region wines.

£135.00 per night (maximum 2 people per room) and a minimum 2 night stay. Your room rate includes continental and cooked breakfast and apero on your night of arrival (drinks and nibbles). We offer dinner and accompanied excursions on request. You'll stay in one of our large ensuite rooms in either the converted barn or our maison de maitre in The Riveau, The Chandenior, The Renaudot or The Rose Garden Suite.

Our gîte is a converted barn that now offers stylish and luxurious accommodation. It comprises 3 ensuite bedrooms plus an additional bathroom downstairs. there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and separate living room and conservatory. Outsite alfresco dining can be enjoyed on the spacious terrace alongside comfortable outside seating. Star gaze in the wood heated jacuzzi or swim in the outdoor heated pool. If you're feeling energetic have a game of petanque, badminton or water polo. Or maybe explore the beautiful local countryside on foot or on the complimentary bikes, including a tandem.
We offer either a 3 night 4 day tour or a 4 night 5 day tour. Our tours are fully inclusive and include all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner (restaurant lunch each day), château entrance fees, wine tasting at renowned vineyards, visits to local attractions and transfers from Poitiers.
